Mentorship

We love sharing our experiences with people who are learning in this field.

Kelly is a Massachusetts Certified Clinical Supervisor. Today, she supervises Esha Karia, MA on her clinical cases and is a contract supervisor for William James College, where she provides weekly supervision to two graduate students. Kelly is also involved in the BC MentorshipMatch program. Beyond that, she is open to providing more formal, consistent supervision or even just grabbing a coffee.

If you’re new to the industry or considering a career in mental health and seeking friendly advice or a listening ear, please send Kelly an email at kellymillerlmhc@gmail.com.

Internships

In Fall 2022, KAM Counseling kicked off its internship program in welcoming a Boston College Graduate Student. This internship involved managing administrative and research-based tasks for KAM Counseling such as maintaining the practice website, organizing practice expenses, and compiling mental health related resources. This internship also teaches students about the behind the scenes work of running a private practice and pursuing a career in mental health counseling. Please reach out if you’re an undergraduate or graduate student looking to learn more about private practice starting spring 2025.

Note: We do not offer full Clinical Internships required by many graduate programs at this time.
